Semi Permanent Make up by Laura Moss
Semi permanent make up is now an established beauty procedure, (often referred to as Micropigmentation or spmu), in which carefully applied permanent pigments, made of pure,
inorganic minerals, are placed in the dermal layer of the skin.
The semi permanent make up I use is hypo-allergenic, and there are no fragrances, emollients or other ingredients added. Your preferred colour is implanted into a lower layer of the skin on your brows, eye and or lip liner or beauty spot, where it remains up to 5 years.
A consultation is always carried out prior to any work, this ensures you are happy with what is to be done, I will answer any questions you may have and give full details of the the process and aftercare.
PricesSorry due to currently being on maternity leave I am not taking on any new clients until further notice.
Correctional work is on quotation and usually requires 3 sessions. Please read my terms and conditions before booking.
Please keep in mind Semi Permanent Make Up is an art process and the results are dependant on how you look after them during the healing process as well as the rest of the time. My best advice is to use a high SPF on them every day and if your a regular sun bed user you will most likely need more regular top ups than somebody who doesn't use them.
Payment Payments to be paid in full 24 hours before any treatment via bank transfer with your full name as reference. Unfortunately I do not offer a split payments, nor do I accept cheque or card Payments.
During the consultation we will discuss colour, shape, your expectations, I will go through a thorough medical check to make sure the treatment is safe for you and how aftercare is so important in maintaining your freshly done semi permanent make up. I always take my time designing your new brows which are drawn on first until we are both 100 per cent satisfied. Once you are happy with everything we can proceed with the treatment. Treatment time including numbing time with a topical anaesthetic is around 2.5 hours for the first session.
The benefits are:
- Prevents lip stick bleeding
- Disguises the appearance of fine lines around the mouth
- Camouflages scars
It is strongly advised that Zovirax tablets prescribed by a GP are taken for 5 days before and 5 days after the treatment if the client suffers from cold sores.
There is a wide range of colours available for those wanting a more subtle natural shade to those wishing to have a striking more dramatic and vibrant look. A series of sessions are required for this treatment to achieved the depth of colour desired as the lips can fade up to 70 per cent resulting in a very natural lip blush effect needing further sessions to build up the colour until the treatment is deemed complete.
Lighter colours do fade considerably sometimes needing up to several sessions in some cases. Darker colours are far better for lasting visible results. Treatment time depends on the size and fullness of the lips.
It is strongly advised that Zovirax tablets are take 5 days before and 5 days after the treatment if the client suffers from cold sores.
Contouring Lip Liner This is a great lip treatment that offers definition as well as creating fullness with shading to contour the lips for a poutier sexier appearance.
